We develop solutions for different types of feedings, high-speed packaging, auto splicing, recipe handling, heat control, defect rejects, registration optimization, PackML implementation, servo system diagnostics, extensive alarms deployment, and multiple operation modes (service, production, paper adjustment, maintenance).
This is one of the most popular types of machines in the food industry (flour, grains, candies, cereals). We have retrofitted brands like Fabrima, BOSCH, Goglio. Both types intermittent and continuous film feed, dual or single formers, different types of feeders, high packaging speeds, automatic film align, recipe handling, heat control, registration optimization, PackML implementation, servo system diagnostics, extensive alarms deployment, multiple operation modes (service, production, paper adjustment, maintenance), double formers conveyor synchronization, in line weigh correction.
The beverage industry uses these machines to pack cans and bottles. We have retroffitted brands like Simplimatics and Kister. The Simplimatics have twelve axes, that include feeding, grouping, transport, tray feeding, and wrapping. The Kisters have two axes for wrapping and a master axis. They are simpler and more mechanical. The applications have an extended cover of alarms and conditions, with an HMI that visually shows the problem location.
Corrugated cardboard cutoff, is a challenging application because of the dynamics of the large inertia of the coupled rolls of the knives, the high power drive-motor system (150 hp), and the requirements of accuracy (+-2mm) and speed (150 m/min). We have retrofitted Langston cutoff, replacing legacy controls and electronics by a Logix system, but keeping the DC Motor-Drive in torque mode, the application handles FIFO production program, extensive diagnostics, encoder switching for tail cutting with each product change.
